Managed Care Nurses - OES Healthcare

Our client, an established private healthcare provider, is seeking Managed Care Nurses for their offices in Greenock, Scotland. By joining the nursing team, who are at the forefront of managed care, you will add your personality and dedication to help maintain our position as a leader in our field.

The intensive training period will equip you with knowledge of our client's operational procedures and systems. You will then join the Utilisation Management Team of qualified nurses (who have around 10 years’ post registration experience). The nurses make sound judgements to ascertain the medical appropriateness of a proposed treatment plan and manage client usage of their healthcare policies. This will involve liaising with specialists, patients and their families and other healthcare providers. To succeed in this environment you will be an enthusiastic, tenacious individual who is ready to embark on a major career challenge and who is able to build rapport and offer support and guidance to patients and their families via the telephone. Your ability to adapt to a new learning environment will be tested to the full.

You should be a Registered General Nurse, with a broad range of post registration experience and possibly a dual qualification. Surgical experience would be advantageous.
