Enrolled Nurse - Uk Healthcare Professional

Our well established client are looking for a Registered Nurse for a retirement village in Lanarkshire in Scotland. You will be responsible to the Care Manager and Deputy Manager. You will need to promote and maintain a high standard of care for the residents and adhere to professional and ethical standards as laid down by the UKCC.

Duties:

• To assist in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care needs.
• To assist in administration duties as instructed by Care Manager/Depute.
• To assist in the supervision and deployment of Care staff.
• To report condition of residents to Care Manager/Depute and inform of any significant changes.
• To establish and maintain personal contact and give psychological support to residents.
• To initiate and participate in nursing procedures and treatments.
• To co-operate with medical and other staff in the management of patient care.
• To ensure clear and concise reporting to nursing staff involved in the care of residents.
• To participate in in-service training and mentorship of students.
• To operate and adhere to safe work practices in accordance with the Health and Safety at
• work act and C.O.S.H.H. regulations.
• To keep abreast of clinical development.
• To comply with the National Care Standards Act 2000.

Each Registered Nurse is accountable for his or her own practice.
The ideal candidate will have a nursing qualification and have sound knowledge of caring for elderly client groups
