Cardiac Physiologist - STR Group

I am currently looking for a highly specialised and experienced Cardiac Physiologist to develop the cardiac services within a busy, customer focused hospital in Hampshire on a part time or full time basis.

You will be responsbile for the clinical specialties of Devices (Pacemakers and ICD's implants) and Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP & RFA), Cardiac Catheterisation, (angiography/PCI) acting as a specialist Cardiac Physiologist in these areas. You will assist in the provision of specialist professional direction and act as a resource within the department, providing expertise and specialist advice in these disciplines.

You will be able to demonstrable relevant experience at specialist or higher level in devices, EP/RF and Interventional cardiology (angio/PCI) as well as providing some cover in Echocardiography, Exercise Testing and ECG as appropriate and as the needs of the service dictates.

You will be expected to process the ability to communicate effectively at all levels in a multi-professional environment, building teams, working comfortably and effectively in a team environment and demostrating excellent written and oral communication skills.

You will be educated to degree level, BSc (Hons) Clinical Physiology or Equivalent qualification, with a post graduate professional qualification in the specialist area of pacing, ICDs or Electrophysiology (NASPE/BPEG or equivalent professional accreditation).
