Cardiac Anaesthetic Nurse - Band 6 - STR Group

A leading hospital in the Bristol area is currently looking for a qualified Cardiac Anaesthetic Nurse to work as part of their Anaesthetic theatre team within cardiology.

You will be qualified as a registered nurse RGN or Operating Department Practitioner ODP who has successfully completed or due to complete the Post graduate Anaesthetic Nurse qualification. The hospital are offering a 15 month fixed term contract with the possibility of a substantive post once the introduction of this role has been evaluated.

You will be required to work under the supervision of the anaesthetist and within a work plan set out by the consultant in the anaesthetic team. You will contribute to the delivery of anaesthetic services whilst demonstrating a high standard of clinical skills developed through the 27 month clinical programme you have recently undertaken.

To be successful you will need to offer a broad range of specialities within anaesthetics with specialist experience within Cardiac and General surgery. You will be rewarded a competitive salary with a generous benefit package.
