My Client, an independent orthopaedic hospital in East Sussex currently has opportunities for 2 Sisters roles. One is an Outpatient Sister, and the other a Ward Sister.
Outpatient Sister:-
This is a great opportunity for a Sister/Charge Nurse to join the Outpatient Service. You will have excellent knowledge and experience in Orthopaedics. You will help ensure the high nursing standards are kept up, and take charge in absence of the Senior Sister. You will have excellent communication skills, be supportive, and able to use initiative. Good management and negotiation skills are essential with management/leadership training with a proven record of managing change.
You must be NMC registered, have Outpatient experience, able to ideal with large amounts of patients and have worked in a Sister role with ENB 998 (or similar).

Ward Sister:-
This role will suit you if you have extensive knowledge and experience in an Orthpaedics Ward, working in a multi skilled and multi level team. Your goal will be to provide the best patient care possible.
Your responsibility will be the clinical and administrative management of in-patient and day care nursing services for the orthopaedic ward along with the ward manager. You will ensure that workforce planning methods, which link volume activity and working hours, are strictly observe; and ensure the effective and efficient use of staff. At all times you will have the vision of providing and maintaining a patient focused quality service. You will therefore have excellent organisational abilities and leadership skills.
As a successful candidate you will be RGN qualified with post qualification experience at senior staff nurse level. You will have a Mentorship/ENB 998 or equivalent. It would be advantageous if you have had experience in the Private Sector nursing.
